Ok, So I took a straight paladin template and made a gargoyle
120 Swords
120 Tactics
120 Resist
120 Parry
105 Chiv
135 dex (currently)
And currently raising Throwing .
Now I know there is a hci/dci penalty with throwing while holding a shield, but after a hit is calculated then the chance to parry is checked. Every hit I have taken, none was parried. Parry works fine with the shield and a sword, but with a throwing weapon it seems less useful than a shield without parry or one with bushido.
Can someone confirm?
