BUG reported...Serious loss of turn-in points on Napa

This might be a pretty bad bug. Friend donated 1.5 million points in her house. Then with same character, donated points at her husband's house (on a separate account). Tally at husband's home was only 350K. So she went to town to check with npc who told her she only had turned in 250K points. What happened to 1.6 million points?

Thanks for the heads up on this! I was planning to do the exact same thing... I might try it to replicate the bug, but not with 1.5 million points!

Hate for anyone else to be affected negatively by this. She mentioned securing own trashcan, and then also the trash barrel in her husband's house (where she is a co-owner). Perhaps this action messed up the point accumulations. Might be avoidable if her husband's char did the securing, or all items went to one turn-in spot/barrel.

Need more specifics:

When she put the 1.5 million point items in the trash barrel, did she stay the full 3 minutes and wait for the message stating she got the points? If you recall away, you will NOT receive them.

Did she log out before then? Again you HAVE to remain near the trash barrel until the items are deleted and the points are awarded.

Make sure the trash barrels are SECURE...place, then *I wish to secure this* set to anyone.

.... maybe they need to turn on the fix for the "lock down" problem while clean up is on ....

maybe what happened is you didnt wait the 3 minutes for the trash to collect.

they said that you just cant throw it in the barrel and leave.. you gotta wait for it to empty.

She remained in game long enough to see 1.5 million points at the first barrel, and was surprised to see the 350K points at the second barrel, so she did stay long enough in game to get both tallies. I asked her to visit the cleanup officer to see if both sets of points were rewarded and she found only 250k points there. Will ask her later if she had logged out in between dropping items.

im on Napa myself and the only time i tossed points into a trash can and was not awarded the points! was when i went to the bank and once when i was on the floor above! both during the emptying phase...ya have to be near it when it empties!, ive been using the same char on my char owned house and the co owned house..never locked down the trash barrel! just placed it..placed by the same char in both homes

i did stay at the trash barrel at all times had stuff to toss out stacked in containers near it, and didn't leave the house till after approx. 5 - 10 minutes after dump cycle as i was grabbing a few remaining things from house one to bring with me to house 2, and no i never logged out with int whole time logged in approx 11:50 am est and didn't log off that char till approx. 2:45ish

pretty sure it tells u with one click what points u get pe item...if i was trashing and did not get the u hav gained 1000 points to the turn in i would pretty damn well stop................

damn!, i talked to another person in game a few mins ago who had the same issue, everything was fine and the trashcan msg showed the correct points gained, but when they went to the guy at brit bank...they lost half the points..im stumped

Happened to myself on Europa earlier in the day. Not quite as many points but sucked none the less....

I put 86 AOS roses in my trash barrel, recalled out to the bank to colect the rewards and never got a single point. I didnt wait the 3 mins for it to disapear, which with hind sight i should have.

Every other item i put in i waited the 3 mins and got my points. But im pissed i lost 500k points on the first lot.
