EA has had plenty of time and money to make new expansions, lands and facets (Trammel rules, unfortunately). Any half assed PvPer knows that server lines are a severe problem, especially in the notorious PvP bank, Bucs Den. However, not as famous as it once used to be, it is still a pinnacle symbol for combat. A modest tune-up for the Den is years overdue.
Now, if you spend any time in Fel, or even T-Hunting in Trammel, you can tell anyone exactly where this abortion runs right through the middle of town. It seems to be placed in the most perverse section on the entire island. Running right up the middle, half a screen away from the first bridge and landing on the very end the the last two, making PvP here very controversial to say the least.
Cowards of every generation of Ultima have used this server line as a crutch. The Bucs Den is a legendary landmark and city within Sosaria that symbolizes the perfect eight letter word; Murderer.
Now, really, how hard would it be to copy a landmass, delete it, and move it over a few screen lengths? There's a moongate there, so ultimately any rune that would be voided could be easily remarked. No one 8x8's anymore, so it becoming an obstruction in a clear line of water isn't an issue.
I feel that if enough people sign/reply to this petition then we could send a clear message to EA that, for all the harm they have done to us Murderers, the least they could do is clean up a bastion for PvP.
I don't know about your server, but on mine we still have fights in Bucs Den.
Lastly, this is something I don't think would receive a negative response from any player, no matter what your facet affiliation is or who you do or do not like in game for any reason.
