Broken connection in Dollar Mint

Anyone else experiencing a problem in the Dollar Mint? I've been cut off and gotten the message "Your internet connection to the servers has been unexpectedly broken" twice this evening. I don't think I'm the only one because one of my compatriots on the second run disappeared a couple minutes before I was cut off. To top it off, the "Report a Bug" button doesn't work on the login screen. Oh, wait, my browser just opened like fifteen Disney bug report tabs...

Sounds like either lag or minor connection issues. Disney is gonna say your video card drivers are old and you need to reconfigure your router.

I don't agree about the driver story because I have yet to see a driver update for any of my computer video cards.

I do however agree with the router configuration. I was having the same problems as you a while back so I reconfigured my router and installed more ram and I rarely have any problems. There is the rare occasion that my computer does lag and I get the boot. But that is so rare I don't even worry about it anymore.

To reconfigure your router click the link below.

I don't know about the dollar mint but I have been having connection issues in the cgc for quite a few days. Not my router either. Other friends are having the same problem... so unless all of us who are using our own configurations on both the router and video settings have stumbled upon the same problem, it's Disney. We now do middle sixes whenever we can get enough toons together. At least if we disco, it's not so much time lost. Certainly hope it gets fixed soon.

ahh but you forget. Disney's TT is a perfectly running well oiled machine. So it has to be your computer.

i have heard of rumors about some of the server connections having issues. There might well be a problem but Disney wont admit it till they send out a bug repair to fix it.

I say REPORT REPORT REPORT. Thats the only way they will even look into it.

I've been having random broken connections for the past couple of days. I have rebooted my router, checked my router config, and my video drivers aren't old (on either computer)...The thing is, I can be logged onto both computers with different accounts, and one will break, but the other one won't. So tell me how THAT'S an issue with my router....One occurrence this morning involved me standing at my house while my daughter's toon was in the DDL PG in Nutty River. MY connection was the one to break, not hers, and if it was a lag issue, I would have expected hers to break, not mine. Oh, and just in case there's any question, my cables aren't old and they are plugged in securely, and they are short...The two computers aren't more than 10 feet apart...so it's not a cabling issue either. (I think I've thought of everything, but I'm still not reporting a bug because IT DOES NO GOOD!)

I had a problem just that one day. I haven't had an issue since. Oh, and Disney sent me the "it's your router" response. I've changed nothing at my end and I've been playing for hours this evening, but I haven't gone to the mint...
