Broken champ spawn scrolls

Okay just did a rats spawn in despise, had my dragon attack the barracoon for the whole time, while fielding, and recieved no scrolls whatsoever. I heard another guy saying that this happened to him.
Anyways if it helps, I was not protected, on a red character this happened about 40 minutes ago.
