Would have been nice if there was a contest for our loved Atlantic chars to remit a version to win for the bankroof makeover. What would you do?

Being someone who has not been in the loop for the contest obviously..I wanted to ask here what people thought of it, and that he won congrats to him as well. I only saw the rooftop as before a few months back and then when the bank changed I thought it was new. My compliments on it exhists in the thread, only asking what people thought. So disregard the idea for a contest since it shows it was approved and won fair and square. Any thoughts, compliments, or other are welcome here. Thanks to all who reply.

Wrong. Maybe some people thought that the bank was fine as it was and needed no "contest". They have the right to dislike it, whether they entered, or not.

Brit bank is just fugly, i never heard of any contest, one day i just turned up and im standing by a waterfall on top of a bank roof where the water goes NOWHERE!lol.

seriously atlantic was the only shard still standing at west brit bank instead of luna and this has just ruined it for us, even if the rest fo the shard go back to banksitting there, i wont be.lol.

I dont blame Vlad, he entered a contest and who wouldnt want to design their own bank, and i spose everyones taste is different, however i do blame EA for being the pratts they usually are.

For what it's worth-I think it looks awesome. The design brings colorful change to a bank that is in the midst of a "re=population" contest. People complain of "water that goes nowhere" when we "live" in a world of Moongates and Mongbats?

Bottom line: Great job Vladimir-your hard work has been appreciated.

Without commenting on the bank itself I will say this, you could repopulate a hole in the ground if someone is actively going to drop checks all over the place while promises of hundreds of millions of gold to be won are made.

While I wouldn't have designed the bank the way it is now, I don't think it's horrible. Although the waterfall ontop of the bank does seem a bit off.

I think this contest would have been better put to use by constructing a new building somewhere instead of replacing a current one. Considering there are a few wasted buildings in Britain, it would have been quite easy to change one of those and made it a new style NPC building.

Or maybe even change Eastern Britain Bank which is usually empty and try to draw back some of the people to that bank.

Brit west looks idiotic. true story. It's fine though. Vlad won a contest with judges that chose better designs on other shards. the other designs for ATL must have been truly horrific.

You can ask your shard EMs for a contest like that. As i said our EMs let us design the Fair grounds. I know Bajas did a design contest for a garden my friend Wildstar won. Honestly just talk to your EMs they can make fun events like those and would be soo awesome to see the people that wanted to participate in this one do the next one. Im sure Atlantic has many talented designers around.

Also if they do do one ill show you how to use paint and inside uo. Thats what I used. The fairgrounds took me a few days so you have to be willing to put in time.

I started playing a bit on a Miner and a dexer. Anywhere you can point me to see some houses on Atlantic that are famous for their design or deco?

Vlad has a few around. You'll typically find him bank sitting at Brit so hollar for a tour.

You might want to check out my place as well - although I warn you, some say I go for quantity over quality... . It's just off the west shore of the lake in Malas. You can either go to the coordinates 0,0 0,0 and it is the big house just down-screen from it, or just head west out of Umbra across the north side of the lake. When the lake shore turns to head south, look for a large "yew" tree near the shore. It is the house just west of that tree. Each "section" has teleporters in the se corner of most floors.

I think Avenhar and Andrasta would also be able to direct you to many of the shards designer homes. They spend a lot of time roaming.
