The Bring Stratics Home campaign organizers will be using this thread to update the Stratics Community on the status of the auction and campaign funding effort throughout the day and evening (Saturday, Dec 26)
IndieGoGo Crowdfunding Campaign:
Currently this stands at $9,317, or 89% of our $10,500 minimum goal.
The campaign will end on December 27th -- one day later than the auction close, to allow for additional contributions.
The Auction:
Currently the high bid is at $10,100.
The auction ends today, at approximately 9pm eastern (8pm central / 7pm mtn / 6p pacific)
Overview:
In order to meet our minimum funding goal of $10,500, we need to raise $1,183 more through the campaign...but at the current high bid, that number is unlikely to be enough to secure the site on its own. The senior staff and some "angel contributors" have committed to adding additional funding to meet a gap between the $10,500 campaign goal and the final bidding price -- but every dollar we secure via the IndieGoGo campaign is another dollar we have to add to the pool to ensure we are victorious in being the highest bidder when the auction closes.
Folks, we have come SO FAR...let's not miss this opportunity to purchase the site and bring it back home as a not-for-profit entity focused on UO, the players, and their love of the game.
