Bride Sandals?

As I recall, there was some fuss over these. What of? I'm not sure, hence the post. If anyone could shed some light on the deal with these sandals, it'd be greatly appreciated. I seem to think they had a special hue or something to that effect, or were ill-gotten since it was an NPC.

Pictures would be helpful, as I think I may have a pair.

a very long time ago, before I was capable of affording such things, someone said that white sandals could only be obtained by murdering a bride... being a lawabiding sort I didn't want to do that..... hemmed and hawed for days about it (really wanted white sandals) and finally took my warrior out to escort a bride, and there, on the road south of Minoc, did the deed

the sandals were not white... they didn't have a tag that proclaimed they were from the bloodied feet of a bride... they were just greyish sandals.. I kept them for a while to remind myself that murder is not a pleasant task

if the color was anything special I did not notice it at the time. ... perhaps guilt clouded my vision

They were sought after because it was the closest to white you could get at the time.

They're light grey. If you want to see them, go find a bride escort to compare. :cP

Those were the days where daily rares and semi rares were valuable, also stuff like paints & brush and other oddities like colored sandals, good times.

If I´m not mistaken, you get the same colour of sandals if you start out as a necromancer... but I´m really not sure, just remember getting light grey sandals when I made a female necro.
