Breaking News: Tragedy for Britain

It is with great sadness that I announce that the HMS Arcadia has been lost at sea. The ship contained over 100 prisoners and crewman. The HMS Arcadia had left port in Britain in transit to Nujel'm as part of the cities new transfer program.

I offer my condolences to the crew and the convicted. The people on that ship deserved a proper trial, but tragically will now never receive one. As verdict could not properly be reached, the families of the deceased prisoners will forfeit half their belongings to the city of Britain. This is the fairest compromise we can reach to ensure justice prevails even in tragedy.

Now, sorry so late to respond to this. But at the meeting, you stated Nujel'm will maintain and trial all of Britain's criminals. Nujel'm doesn't have the cells to hold 100 some prisonor, or even a place hold a trial. Which guards did you spare in your city to help escort the prisoners? Yew and Trinsic both have jails and buildings to hold and maintain all of the criminals the kingdom has deemed fit and you wish to choose an island that isn't apart of the kingdom for justice system?
The items that you have taken half of, was not the families fault but of the criminals that was never gotten a trial. So you are the Governor of the city of compassion and maybe taking half of the citizen's belongings due to someone problay broke a curfue?
You are problay breaking several laws yourself there....

I will answer your points Sunwolf

1. Britain was fortunate to not lose any guards in this tragedy. Some good crew were lost, but that is the extent of that.
2. Too often have we seen people escape justice from our institutions in Yew and Trinsic. Nujel'm has promised more secure conditions, and faster verdicts.
3. Upon death, the prisoners belongings become property of the families. Justice must be met, so half of those belongings were taken, to compensate the victims of course.
4. The crimes people had committed who were passenger on the Arcadia is not for public discussion.

Did you just defame the Kings court in Trinsic and Yew? Are you suggesting that the kings justice can be bought off in these cities? I for one am appalled that you would suggest such a thing. Accusing the City of Honor of acting dishonorably is akin to a deceleration if war sir. Are you seriously willing take us down a road to war with accusations such as this? I believe apology is warranted, and that it should be given quickly.

Yes, let me apologize. I meant no disrespect, just that at times the courts are a bit slow, and men have escaped from them before. I simply felt it was beneficial to both Britain and Nujel'm.

With Nujel'm questionable history, being ruled by pirates and a criminal organisation in the past, it seems and odd partner you picked for dealing your justice. Of course I'm not saying it is so, but it would not surprise me if the Arcadia will show up in time again, under a different name and a black skull flag with a crew of 100 pirates.
