found a ring at an idoc named "brass ring" no mods or anything and it a normal ring color(gold) any ideas if this is even a rare? if so how much is it worth?

Brass Ring is a portion of the Gareth quest, the cloak of humility chain. Currently it spawns as a quest item, perchance it's a prepatch?
