Boura Fur: Non-Euclidean Mystery Substance

I have just discovered that the "Fur" one gets from skinning a boura has some interesting properties:
  • Kill a boura of any type. Skin it. Take the stack of Fur this produces off the corpse and put it in your backpack. 1 Fur = 1 Stone. Now take any amount out of the stack less than the whole stack and put it back down in your pack. This new stack's weight has spontaneously divided by 10! If you take what remains of the original stack and drop it on your new stack, it also has this new, lesser weight.
  • Take a stack of Fur that is 10 Fur = 1 Stone, and drop it in another container, such as a secure in your house. About half the time or more, it spontaneously goes back to 1 Fur = 1 Stone!
  • If you have a stack of Fur that is 1 Fur = 1 Stone in another container, and drop it on a stack of Fur in your backpack that is 10 Fur = 1 Stone, about half the time or more, it will convert all of the Fur to 1 Fur = 1 Stone!

The Fish that look like the pre-High-Seas fish types also behave in this manner, though its 1 stone vs. 10 stone, instead of 1/10 vs. 1.

They also stay at the 1/10th normal weight in pack animals, when transported, if put in while at that weight.

However, if you have them in your own pack, when you recall or cross a server line, they return to their original weight.
