Aedon Durreah: What happened?
Sage: the snake attacked, I killed it
Sage: I think the freehold ate the distillery
Aedon Durreah: *chuckles*
Aedon Durreah: Must have been really hungry
Aedon Durreah: *looks to Her*
Sage: *nods and smiles*
Aedon Durreah: I was wanting to see you before I leave.
Sage: come in
Aedon Durreah: *nods*
Aedon Durreah: How have you been first?
Sage: *tilts her head*
Sage: *sighs softly*
Sage: very tired
Aedon Durreah: Aye, seems to be something going around
Aedon Durreah: *smiles a bit*
Sage: *smiles softly*
Aedon Durreah: I have decided to leave Aegis and sail to other lands
Sage: *nods gently*
Sage: I know
Aedon Durreah: There is a strangeness in the air which I find disquieting
Sage: The long winter
Aedon Durreah: I will be passing on Aegis to a new owner or perhaps simply alloing the forest to reclaim the glade
Aedon Durreah: I will not miss Aegis, that is the funny thing
Aedon Durreah: But you, I will miss you.
Sage: I will miss you... for what time I have left
Aedon Durreah: *tilts head*
Aedon Durreah: Your time grows short then
Sage: *trills gently*
Sage: My time has passed Aedon
Aedon Durreah: *nods*
Sage: I am living on borrowed hours now
Aedon Durreah: Much like mine
Aedon Durreah: Who will tend the fire?
Sage: The Balefire will call out and someone will come... or she will fade
Aedon Durreah: *nods*
Aedon Durreah: Sad thing
Aedon Durreah: So much that is magic has faded
Aedon Durreah: All that was good blows upon an ill wind.
Sage: Aye
Aedon Durreah: *smiles sadly to her*
Aedon Durreah: We are much alike
Sage: we fought its coming but we weren't strong enough
Aedon Durreah: aye
Aedon Durreah: It is sad, but perhaps we must now trust to those coming behind us
Sage: *smiles*
Aedon Durreah: *looks around*
Sage: aye
Aedon Durreah: Though the fading of this place is something I cannot fathom
Sage: I will as Ian to take me home to The Dreaming... I won't be reborn to these lands ever again
Aedon Durreah: *looks to her*
Aedon Durreah: At times, I wish I could return to lands such as yours
Aedon Durreah: I must content myself with the sea
Aedon Durreah: There will be things I will wish to leave behind
Aedon Durreah: Perhaps some of the Freehold can use them
Sage: You know we will hold anything you wish to leave to us and keep it safe.
Aedon Durreah: *looks to her*
Sage: Each rebirth I remember some of my life before
Sage: I hope to remember you
Aedon Durreah: That is a rare gift
Sage: If I do I will find your dreams
Aedon Durreah: and a sadness I would think as well
Aedon Durreah: *smiles*
Aedon Durreah: I will never forget you dear lady
Sage: It is a heavy heart I bare with each passing
Sage: I can't start anew here again
Aedon Durreah: I carry your voice in my ears and your trill in my heart
Aedon Durreah: *nods*
Aedon Durreah: These lands are not inviting
Aedon Durreah: No longer accepting of that which is magic
Sage: it no longer dreams
Aedon Durreah: aye
Aedon Durreah: There is no need for dreams when greed and power drives the minds of men
Sage: the pages of this story now lay empty
Aedon Durreah: No, I do not think so
Aedon Durreah: The story has been a rich and fulfilling one
Sage: aye for a time it was
Aedon Durreah: Our chapter has closed, the tale goes on
Aedon Durreah: Across time and space, no years will change what I have known here.
Sage: do you think they will remember us?
Aedon Durreah: And I will look for you within my dreams.
Aedon Durreah: *shrugs*
Aedon Durreah: some will
Aedon Durreah: But history fades
Aedon Durreah: Reality steps on the past as a broken twig
Aedon Durreah: *studies her face*
Sage: I hope my book is placed next to yours on an ancient shelf
Aedon Durreah: *smiles softly*
Sage: *pushes back her cowl her hair streaked with grey*
Aedon Durreah: That my dear lady would be an honor for sure.
Aedon Durreah: I am always amazed by your beauty.
Sage: *trills*
Sage: I am just a wayside flower
Aedon Durreah: *laughs*
Aedon Durreah: you are a rare blossom
Aedon Durreah: *looks down a moment then back to her*
Aedon Durreah: Thank you Sage.
Sage: You Lord Durreah... you should have been born Fae
Aedon Durreah: *chuckles*
Aedon Durreah: Perhaps my next life
Aedon Durreah: Thank you for gracing my time here
Sage: If I ever find fates weavers, I will make sure of it, an Eshu perhaps
Sage: *smiles softly a sparkle in her eye*
Aedon Durreah: *grins*
Sage: *gently touches his cheek with cool fingers*
Aedon Durreah: *smiles to her*
Sage: I love you Aedon, always remember that
Aedon Durreah: *takes her hand and kisses it*
Aedon Durreah: *looks to her*
Aedon Durreah: *bows head*
Aedon Durreah: I will send word when I have made arrangements
Sage: I will ask the wind to fill your sails
Aedon Durreah: My thanks
Aedon Durreah: Good eve Sage
Sage: Dream well Aedon
