(Player Event) Boom Fest - Aug 25th

The time of celebration is upon us. What do we celebrate you ask? The existence of Barter Town of course!

Five years ago (roughly) Barter Town was founded by the legendary thief Chad Sexington. Since then it has been the de facto place to call home for many aspiring young thieves. I took over the leadership and guildtower early this year. And now, finally, I've gotten the guild tower decorated.

So now it's double party time!

You are all invited on Sunday the 25th at 9pm central europe / 3pm eastern. There will be an open bar (tended by the amazing Ariana Riverwind), some fun and games, and a chance to mingle. Since I'm going to be giving away awesome presents I fully expect you to show up with pockets full of shiny stuff! ^^

Barter Town is located just north of Minoc. There is a teleporter set up at the home of Ducky Momo, just outside the stables in Zento.

Everyone is welcome, and bring your friends, I'm sure we'll have a blast!

Sometimes, we have to accept some risk to get some fun. I see many go to this kind of events in only a robe. I would rather grab an old suit, that I never use more and risk to lose it. You die very easy, if only in a robe as your resist is very low.
Dying may happen at this kind of even but in most cases, your loot will still be on your body, when you are back to life.

I've found that whenever I "throw" a party, I have very little time to go through all the women's purses and all the mens' pants pockets. Next time hire somebody to be friendly while you .....well, you know, do what you do best. I only exploded twice and found a nice pair of earrings on the floor. Kudos to you Ladra!!!

If anyone else has any pictures I would love to see them. Especially of the large crowd we got on the roof.

I would also like to give a big thank you to Henry for helping me plan and execute everything. You did a great job. And a very special thanks to Ariana and Goldie for providing and serving food and drinks. Couldn't have done it without you! *hugs*
And then again, thank you all for coming over. Big thanks to everyone for behaving and letting the festivities go on. Was a bit worried some people would not like me enough.
