Bola Bug or No? Beware

Today I start fighting Baal, a old school person whos a joy to fight, and the fight turns against my favor. So I figured I'd do the classic "Hide the pet and look innocent/panicked" at the bank. I toss the bola when Baal gets close and a chase insues, and of course hes GOOD and easily outruns the dragon. Good times. Then I try the "hide the pet and me, then bola the person when they get close" tactic.

Now normally I wait till the guy gets close, then I 2 click the bola and toss it. When I 2 click the bola it NORMALLY takes me out of hiding and gives the other person both the sight of me and a bola warning. DIDN'T HAPPEN. I stayed in hiding standing RIGHT next to him and he didn't have ANY CLUE as to this "NOW" gimp tactic. Both hidden and target cursor is up.

This gimp tactic was supposed to be fixed many many patches ago. Now for some reason or another its like is was before when people complained in DROVES. I agree also that you should COME OUT OF HIDING or NO cursor should pop up while hidden.

Everyone please be aware of this if you didn't know. I sure didn't. I informed Baal of this gimpness and stopped the fight.

Hidden or not, doesn´t Baal get a message saying " Guardian KX is menacingly swinging a bola..."?

I rarely use them or see people use them but I believe I´ve seen a message like that even when players have been hiding.

That or I´m waaaay off, heh.

I haven't PvP'ed in quite a while and I have no idea how long its NOW been this way. But before (at least a year and a half ago) they changed it so if your hidden it unhides you, or if the targets up and someone casts hide on you the cursor goes away. Today I 2 clicked it next to him and he didn't run, then I was stealthing around with the cursor up.

I could bring the bola target up a screen away and stealth over and target you if the "Swinging" part was what you thought made it fair... GIMP.

I'm the guy thats using a "SEEN" (bola) tactic and "IM" saying it is not fair. Reguardless if its intended or not... FIX IT!

I've tested this and the message still appears on screen and in the journal of the person you throw the bola at. Baal may have been afk atm or just plan bored.

But you still can still bring it up off screen and stealth over and throw it correct?
