[Blacksmithing] Bod Reward Changes?

After getting the elusive large BoD, I filled a Valorite 20 Exceptional Chainmail BoD.
Dived off to Luna to hand in and receive my +60 ASH.
Only to receive a Valorite Runic! (Not that I'm complaining!)

Just wondered if there are any changes I've missed to BoD rewards from the Tower Of Roses information I've used for years?

Anyone else experienced this at all?

Yes, a bonus is randomly applied to upper level bods. Here is FAQ from the data chest:

How about adding a dread war horse (in a crystal, can only be unlocked by a tamer) as a possible bonus reward when handing in the 20 exceptional platemail large bulk order deed?

Why would an armour forged of leather make a more viable armour than one forged of metal and steel?
Just give me what I want and no-one gets hurt!
