BOD quality lowered back to the old normal?

I haven't gotten a decent BOD (colored) since the first week of the BOD changes..

Is it me? or everyone?

PS. I recently Xfered shards... could that of done anything?

Over the past few weeks I've gotten:

20 Exc Plate

Valorite
Verite
Agapite
Gold
Bronze
Shadow
Dull Copper

And have even gotten 2 of the 20 Exc Plate smalls that I need to fill the Agapite one.

Think it's just you.

Smith and Tailor ones back to junk this last week again. Nothing Over a Exc Wep in last 10 Bods, on Tailor its been worse. Like the fix went out the window (and all Tailors Smiths are 120)

It's just you. I'm still getting the same proportion of BODs as I did over that last month.

I turned in 400+ on Sunday and received 4 Valorite BODs (2 exceptional armor ones), 6 verites of various quality and size, 3 Agapite Ex 10/15 Plate smallls, 1 Gold Ex 20 Plate small, 2 Bronze 10/15 Plate smalls, and around 20 PoF smalls.

Everybody needs to remember good BODs tend to come in cycles. For instance, I turned in 450 Cloth BODs last week and received 4 Barbed LBODs. That's the best I've ever done in a turn in cycle. This past weekend I turned in the same number and received none. On the other hand, my BOD runners picked up two doing normal BOD runs over the past week.

I thought it was just me! The first week or so, I saw a definite improvement in the BODs that I received, but now, I'm back to nothing better than 10-15 exceptional of iron or cloth.

First week i got a bunch of Agapite Bods, was able to get a 20/Exc/Agapite Platemail Arms Bod to put in my 20/Exc/Agapite/Platemail Large Bod (Gets +60 ASH). Just last week i filled about 50-60 bods and got a few good bods, some got me PoF, including another 20/Exc/Agapite/Large Platemail Bod. Majority of colored bods i get are Agapite for some reason. This is on an old craftsman with 120.0 Smithing/120.0 Tailoring/GM Carpentry/GM Fletching/GM Tinkering/GM Armslore/80.0 Magery. Had to soulstone his GM Mining when they made Armslore useful again to pick up GM Armslore off of a Soulstone Fragment. Kept GM Armslore on him for a long time after AoS and put it on a Soulstone Fragment when they gave them out one holiday, then trained up Fletching.

I was actually wondering the same thing...

I have been trying to empty out one of my BoD houses and in the process have really only gotten as high as verite. I have TONS of DC and Shadow and many, many, many, plain iron weapon BoDs.

I am going to fill and turn in around 400 this weekend... going to try and keep track of what I get

Must be you.....on occasion now, I get the crappy iron ones, but it's more DC and shadow, occasionally a bronze.....valorite, I haven't a clue what those are.

I have maybe gotten 1 agapite bod since the changes and i know it wasn't 20/exc. I do have horrible luck when it comes to stuff though so that could be it.

Tailor BOD drops WERE NOT CHANGED BY THAT PUBLISH.

If you thought they had, you were just getting a very good run of luck that week.

No sign of any changes with the smith, from the increased chances.

Last Night, with my 120 smith turning in 55 smalls, the usual post-publish numbers held up, so there's not been any changes.

24 weapons (14 normal, 10 exceptional)
NO Iron Armor (combinable or otherwise) - as reflects the 5% overall or 10% of only armor BODs being iron armor (if the changes had bee reverted, I would have gotten about 10-15 of them). 0 at 10% chance in 31 tries is a lot more likely than 0 at 50% chance in 31.
25 of the colored BODs were bronze or less
I got 1 Ex plate gold (15 count), 2 agapite (including an Agapite chain 10 Ex small that completed a gold hammer LBOD for me), 2 Verite (can't remember type), and a 15 Ex Valorite non-combinable.


There's only ONE way to judge if the changes are working - and that is looking at your number of iron ARMOR BODs you get as a ratio to your other BODs.

If you are getting half as many iron armor BODs as you are getting weapon BODs, then you are either under 110 skill, or got some issues.

If you are 120 skill, you should be getting about 1 iron armor/shield/helm BOD for every 10 weapon BODs, or 1 for every 9 colored armor/shield/helm BODs. Sometimes you get lucky (0 in 31 armor BOD pulls) like I did last night (heck, I got close to 60% armor BODs, which is above average to begin with). Sometimes the luck goes the other way. But as long as you're not getting 15+ iron armor BODs per 100 turned in at 120 skill (15 being average for a 110-119.9 Smith), you're not bugged.

I agree too. At first with the change I got a few more large iron armor, but didn't see a diff in the colored. I've gotten nothing above bronze, and mostly weapons, with legendary smiths on the shards I play. Probably the ole RNG, but its frustrating.
