(Question) Boats on Siege question

Is there anywhere on the seas of Siege where one may place a Gargoyle ship and not be vulnerable to being fired upon?

I can't really remember if any GZ reach very far out into the water. Brit, Vesper, maybe Trinsic?

When I had a boat I either drydocked before logging, or just parked it out in the middle of the ocean. It was usually good for a day or two that way.

Not to my knowledge. I suspect that any ship at sea is vulnerable to being fired upon.
But Uvtha's suggestion of a guard zone extending over water is interesting; she suggests that guard zones protect ships as well as players.
We could take our ships out and experiment until we had the answers. Let me know if y'want to do that. You got me curious, now.

Yer hold on the ship acts as commodity box. Just like yer bank box, you can deed any stacks of fish and crabs. Deeds weigh nothin'... You can do this.
