Boats in Fel HELP!!!

ok.. I have a boat in Fel...was loaded to the top with powder charges and grapeshot boards, ingots etc. Its been like that since we have had High Seas. Today I log in and its scuttled and everything in the hold except for the liquor is gone. I hadnt logged the boat in for a few days. Is this right?? They can attack and scuttle me while Im logged off?? If so I am going to have to have a new plan beacause I just lost millions of dollars of ammunition and supplies. Not to mention the time its taken to make all of this stuff.

I'm afraid so. My boat on Siege has been scuttled several times, I don't leave it in the water very often.

The boats can get scuttled by another boat and then looted. If you leave your boat in the water then I would suggest unloading it. You would never leave your house open to the public with containers set to anyone...but that is basically what you did leaving your ship in the water full of supplies.

And if it's been there that long not touched then you have a really remote house spot, or some very friendly neighbors!

they can board your boat and loot ,even if not given permission to board it??

yes, once it's scuttled. That information is included in the documentation, both EA's and our own on Stratics

Combat Situations
Security When ships are severely damaged, it becomes impossible to deny access. The effective minimum security level becomes PASSENGER when in Trammel ruleset areas and OFFICER when in Felucca ruleset areas (e.g. in a PvP battle the victor can come aboard and raid your cargo hold and steal your cannons). The DENY ACCESS setting no longer applies in any case (even explicit individual bans) when the ship is immobilized!
