Boat Decay Question

What happens if a boat decays while your character is on board?

I know on ships I have been on in the past 3 mos when the owner has dry docked it & I was on it logged off, I would get kicked to the last Land spot I was at. I would presume the same would happen here.

Aye I think that's what happens. And also, I think decay happens at server down. So I don't believe you can be on a boat and see it disappear beneath you.

I did a test run on the new ship's decay rate. The changes took place at midnight Eastern Time, with the ship going down after 13 days.
