blood dungeon question

Im a returning old school vet (started in 97 and played till 01) So all this is new to me, but been getting the hang of things, anywho, Does the Balrom spawn in the Blood dungeon near the sprituality shrine has a chance of becoming a paragon?

Yes - in fact, it's probably the most commonly hunted Balron because it's the only one that spawns as a paragon in an area with little other spawn.

I always preferred the one above the chaos shrine... less camped and still no spawn once you get away from the gate area.

Tazar, me too - but for some reason people seem to be scared to death of not having left-right movement in that pass it spawns in - and don't seem to want to dress before running back from getting rezzed at a shrine, and complain the spawn around the shrine is too heavy.

Of course, the real downside to the Chaos Balron is that it sometimes spawns on the lava river, and that pretty much can ruin your day, until it despawns and respawns.

Why fight in the pass? There are plenty of other places that are handy to fight that Balron. Personally the pass works fine for me. You can jam him there and then he really can't fly away too well.

Didn't they fix that a while back? I could have sworn I saw that in the patch notes once upon a time.

But the Chaos Balron is my favorite for my archer to kill paragons. Just lead it to the volcano center and it can't cut you off, so you always have room to run.

They tried - It still happens, but not as much - they fixed most of the areas where it could happen, but accidentally left a couple "bad" tiles unblocked.
