block tiles in house

over the past year, there's been a few times where i notice one of the tiles in my house is blocked. it cannot be walked on and it has nothing on the floor. it also blocks the upper and bottom floors that fall on that same spot, so it doesn't seem like one item hiding. it's been happening for a while and i'm unclear as to what's the cause of this? or how to get rid of it. my only guess is that it's being done by other plays?

has anyone else experienced this, know the cause, or how to fix it? i cannot go in to design mode because it is a vendor house (which might fix it).

if it's on an upper floor, check for parrots on the floors below

it's blocked on all floors, like an invisible pillar.

I have this problem with a tile in my castle because I tried to build something fancy with goza mats that didn't quite work out. I axed everything I could see. Still there's something there.

hmm, it's happened to me in a few places and changes month to month. once it blocked a teleporter and this time it's block access to a balcony exit. that's why i think it's other players doing it. i feel like it's of spiteful intent.

definetely a goza gone wrong snafu... it can also happen when breaking up forges and things like that.

I had this happen to me and it took me a while to figure out what was causing it. In my case it was a custom house and I had placed a roof tile on one of my floors to look like a planter. Once I removed the roof tile and put an actual plant there the tile on all floors became accessable again. Just something to check.

I have noticed over the last few years as the Dev have changed where items used for deco like goza's, planters, parrots, and even some house add ons, block or cant be placed not just in the front of our homes no matter if its customized or classic. The Tent spawns reaked havoc with many homeowners and dammaged many items, including secures lost to the overlay of the spawns. They have been so so on the repairs of items and the loss is moot we all know its not guna happen. (example is maginicia rubble). Double check you dont have a parrot or item that would block any floor in that area... remove the gozas in that area you just might have placed a single and in your use of deco tool might have raised it highter then the rest and it now is blocking your movement.

I have a teleporter on the roof that I can use to go up but cannot use to return, I have never used parrots and @ 1 time the teleporter worked. If anyone has any other ideas pls post !!

is this house a customized one? or are these tps the rewards ? You may have to go back in mode if the first and redo the tiles, perhaps a 1 or 2 tiles over to see if that works.

Change your foundation style. This will fix the offending teleporter.
The broken teleporter will block movement on every floor so everyone with this trouble in a customized house should do so.

If it's a castle like me IDK what you're supposed to do
