This item does not run out of charges nor does it use any.
The only reason it says 100 Uses remaining is because the EM Orginally made regular mortar's and then made them event items, so it kept the uses remaining from the state of a normal Mortar.
I've also been asked if you make potions does it use the remaining uses and break. This is not the case the menu does not pop up at all when you dbl click the mortar.
