Greetings, This was listed as a 1 of 1 lantern, but I had heard rumors that there were 2 others in existence, or that this item had been lightly duped. I own this lantern, and thus if you own one as well, this would confirm that it is not a unique.
This drops the value of the lantern quite a bit, but it is still a beautiful blaze lantern and I would price check it around the 1 b mark.

I've heard of 5 of these being purchased on an Asian shard and were supposed to be brought to Atlantic back last summer, but I lost touch with the courier.

The first person I knew who had this lantern was Orc which was at least 5-7 years ago. Thus making the lantern's origin very old. I know he didn't sell his. Years later, I can't remember if I saw ShuShu with one or if he sold his to Blend etc... but the lantern came from either Arrirang or Balhae or Formosa (one of the 3 (99% sure)). And YES it has been duped but this was back then.
Folks, you have to understand the word "dupe" doesn't mean end all for an item, there are many items duped in the hundreds or thousands that are still asking for big bucks e.g. two story statues, marble tables, orc chief helms to just name a few. What matters is what someone is willing to pay for something they want. However, don't get me wrong, information (correct) is important as we should all be properly educated on such matters.

I remember you mentioning to me something about this, but you said blaze lantern not specifically Light of New Year? did yhe guy yell you yhe names, and Did you ever see them to verify they exist?

I did not get the actual name or see them in person nor a picture, they were just referred to as blaze lanterns.
