Blackrock?

I have been mining pretty heavy the past few days and have received more blackrock than before it was taking out. Or am did I misunderstand UO when they said they where removing blackrock and the eles to go with it?

Depends where you are/go/mean...
Miners can find it because it is everywhere from people using it and blowing things up.
I dont think you will ever mine some up "and" get a Black Rock Elemental....
There are blackrock elementals still, they are in "The Lost Lands" near the Opa Lair. Near by where we used to get large black rock pieces but that is turned off as far as i know....

And Thats all i know about them in regards to them...
