Blackrock drops as arty?

I wonder if its an anti-macroing thing for tamers since animals, etc will get blackrock infected if they are near someone holding it for a while. I don't even know what you'd do if your greater got infected. Would killing it even fix it?

I hope not considering it would take about 7 lines to drag it out of your pack and toss it on the ground.

I'm not sure why there's a big shock about blackrock dropping in ToT III. It happened during the ToT II. I did try to turn it in once I got a huge pile of it from mining, but nope.

One thing I would like to see. If blackrock is going to drop, why not run the risk of infecting the mobs? I'm sure things would be a bit more interesting during the grind if that happened. Also, I would think that a black rock infected monster might just increase the odds of getting another marty.

Would be even better if it either stacked or you could do with it like that obsidion statues and combine it to make bigger peices that would we awsome especially if it just kept getting bigger and bigger with every piece you added to it

No the rock does't infect but it is a feature that needs to be turned on and left that way. Have some more chest to collect. Also if you hear vioces and are one of those plp infected by black rock..................you can infect creatures without having rocks in your pack. They just need to make the BR part of imbueding for putting Earth Eli Slayer on a weapon and leave it at that. None of this BS event happening turn in bull that rewards the scripters.
