Personality: Jacuyl seems lucid at times, but most often mad in public. Only those closest to her have seen her true personality, and even they wonder what really lurks within. She appears to in her mid-thirties and even she doesn't know how old she truly is or how long her body was chained at the bottom of Gravewater Lake.
Brief History:
Public history: Jacuyl is from Umbra, although no one currently living there remembers her. She sought help recovering her body from the sea west of Fire Isle in Trammel. She resides somewhere in Malas, in presumably Umbran territory and has managed to accumulate a collection of followers.
Private history: Jacuyl was born and raised in Umbra and while she didn't necessarily master necromancy, she certainly ascended in the Arcane schools. The hunger for knowledge drove her to pursue specialty areas, especially those of Alchemy and Herbalism. She spent a lot of time in Bedlam experimenting on test subjects abducted from Luna and in time drew the attention of the Luna Holy Mage Council. Overwhelmed by them, she was chained and rune-bound on a ship in Gravewater Lake. Cast overboard to rest at the bottom of the lake forever, her soul awakened in Trammel presumably with the emergent eruption of the volcano on fire island that led to the discovery of the Underworld and the Abyss. It took years for the wandering spirit to gather strength enough to animate borrowed limbs, but once it did, she began searching out assistance in recovering her body from the bottom of the sea. Once her body was recovered, she began to gather followers and named herself ruler of Umbra, despite protestations from King Blackthorn of Trammel and Governors Pandora and Marius, along with a number of Royal Guards unfortunate enough to be stationed in Malas.
