With many holiday events coming to an end to round out 2010, it's time now to plan for the New Year of 2011.
So with that in mind, I would like to give everyone a big heads up to MARK your calendars for JANUARY 15th, 2011 for the Big Ship Regata Race being held and hosted by Nidaros and Aryslan. This time instead of Fel, the race will take place in Trammel. This race was in the planning stages long before the Fel "Blood Regata" race which was on December 15th.
Many good prizes are planned and depending on the amount of entries, maybe something for everyone.
To give an example of big winning prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place, the 1st place winner will recieve an Orc ship complete with all the trimmings, a trophy, and many other goodies all stashed in a white "seawreck" chest, uncovered from the sands of Sosaria and the remains of a treasure once belonging to the renegade pirate "BLACKFOOT". blackfoot even had the gaul to carve his name into it. 2nd & 3rd place also recieve a highseas ship, complete with all the trimmings and goodies.
The Race will take place at 9:00 PM, on January 15th, 2011 and all ship captains will meet in Nu'jelm. Please try to "pre-register" your ship on Friday, January 14th, 2011 between 7:30 Pm & 8:30 PM with "JUDGE" of TPN (Nidaros) & "Jack" from Aryslan. They will be at the Bank in New Haven in order to make things a little smoother during set-up and pre-race time/date.
At 8:30 PM Eastern, Judge will be at the bank in New Haven with a gate open to the Starting area.
All captains MUST register their ship prior to the race.
More details on this will be forth coming as we approach that fun day. Refreshments will be provided at the finish line. So look forward to an exciting race with possibly surprises thru-out the race course.
