Big Fish Trophy

A couple weeks ago I tried making a 197 stone fish into a trophy. I had the boards, taxidermy kit, fish in my pack. I am gm carp. I kept getting the message it couldnt be made into a trophy. I paged but it was getting late so I canceled the page. A couple days later I get a gm on the chat. She said to get everything together and she checked it out. She couldnt see what the problem was and told me to check with UO Herold for an answer. Unfortunately I didnt ask where to look for the answer. Does anyone know exactly where to look or should I page again? Thank you Sara Dale

When I read the title, I assumed you were trying to mount a Big Fish, but on reflection, perhaps you meant big fish. Sure to check Fishing in the High Seas to see if your fish is mountable.

Thank you. Seems like the fish he cought is one of the old style fishes. Guess it has to be one of the 'fancy new' named fishes to be a trophy now.

I would still put it in a display case - all the better that it's an "old-style" fish that's big!

I had the same problem as well, all the big fish (normal) non-named ones I got were not mountable. Then I remember in the old days all big fishes (old style blue big fishes) that were mountable weighed 100 stones. I finally got a 100 stone big fish (blue) the other day and guess what, it was mounted and now hanging on my house wall.

Sorry if my answer was confusing.

By Big Fish, I meant the old style Big Fish (two colors) which can be mounted.

By big fish, I meant the new fish that carry weights, but cannot be mounted. Crystal fish and Fairy salmon would not be mountable, although they can have a lot of weight.

I am assuming you have a big fish. Otherwise if you have a Big Fish, then indeed this is a bugged fish. heh...

I just tried to mount the blue and green variety of Big Fish. Both attempts failed. I will file a bug report, might help if the op does also.
