Best way to transfer pets from an old character to a new one?

Hello,

I plan on transferring some pets from a red of mine to a new blue character. I will also need to soulstone the taming/lore off the red character onto the blue character. What is the best way to do this? Will a third party have to be involved?

Thanks

you can use a magincia stall to do this

1 rent a stall
2 put the pets in the stall
3 transfer via soul stone the skills
4 buy take the pets out with the new blue
5 feed the pets
6 stable pets
7 wait one week

not done this with a red ....can they go to magincia?

Either involve a third party or use the pet vendors, u could set the price at an outrageous price so no one would want to buy it while u change chars n come back to transfer the pet back to ur char stable.

Note: The pet vendor deducts gold by the minute so if it's a crazy price pet it might be eating away some gold during the few mins u're change chars though ...

I'd rather use a trustworthy 3rd party person. Does any well respected people play Atlantic who I could trust?

Wish I could help you with the transfers but I play on Sonoma. I don't think I have a tamer on Atlantic. I should make one there.

When I had no way to transfer pets to another tamer, before soul stones, making extra tamers became necessary. Good Tamers who were more than willing to help, were easily found. I prefer asking another tamer to help even today. You will need to stable them after the transfer for a week so they will be bonded to the new tamer. SOmetimes the transfer won't work if the new tamer hasn't advanced skills but you can get it to transfer if you keep trying. Then stable it. At which time I went back to work making sure the new tamer had advanced skills before using the pet for PVM.

And as other's have advised, make sure your new tamer gets the skills off the soul stones if he needs them. And I think there might be a problem with your old tamer if he has no skills, transferring the beast to anyone. It won't obey? Never tried that before.

Over the years I opened numerous accounts and made many extra tamers on various accounts. Now I use two computers to transfer special pets between the tamers.

I've done this as well. There are only two things to be aware of. First, you'll have to pay the fee for selling. Second, other people will have the opportunity to buy your pets.
