Best way to get Runic mallets?

I turned in a lot of very costly relic frags, essence, and residue.. only got 1 gold mallet 10 charges.. Is there good way to try to get these mallets??

Don't spend relics.

Buy Oak boards.
Craft bows or bokuto.
Unravel them to get MR.
Do the quest.

60k Oak boards = 500 quests = 10 runics.

seems like runics drop less than that ..and sucks they have only 10 charges!!

From Corwin's number's here and mine on the Uhall thread, it seems that the drop rate may be as low as a 2% chance.
