best professions?

Hello. I am returning to UO from like a 7 year break. This game is COMPLETELY different. I was wondering what some of the stronger professions are. When I played dex monkeys were king. Is that still the case? Necros and assassins look pretty good. Looking for some input from roxor players.

well if you pvm or pvp archer is good choice they differ some but easily adaptable for both
crafters are real hard to make into good money makers now unless you want to devote a lot of time to them and build up over time

tamers are good they do very well

bards /almost anything can do very well also

tanks aka fighters can do well also especially with bushido shiv etc
