Best Official Shard for RP?

Greetings. I am considering returning to UO after quite long a hiatus (I cancelled my official account mid 1997). I am looking for a shard with a large number of role-players and role-playing groups. I have since tried a few private shards, but have either not be impressed with what I experienced, or there was no player population. I suppose I might be considered something of a casual RPer, in the sense that I do not often participate in forced situation, but rather do whatever I am doing in character, and like to be surrounded by the same. This is not to say that I do not on occasion participate in more epic events. I am likewise not much of a joiner, as far as guilds go, but I enjoy being par of a robust RP community.

Most of the East Coast shards have populations that are big enough to support RP communities, and I often hear of them running events for their fellow players. I would suggest asking around on their shard forums to see the current status of their RP guilds.
