Best non-aggro to tame from 100 to 105?

I'm taming exclusively via GGS gains from 85 to 105 and I've just hit 100. Now I'm noticing I don't get even GGS gains on gamans anymore :(.

What is the next, best, non-aggro creature to tame where I can simply get GGS gains to 105??

Thanks

See the Taming Guide sticky.

I think there are only 3 non-aggressive tameables at your level:
Kirin
Ridgeback (Deep in Ilshenar -- no recalling)
Unicorn (female only)

But I wouldn't go this route. I would be taming pets I want in my stable. Get a decent resist suit and tame Kits until you have a nice pair. You're eventually going to do this, so why not while you're training? You gain skill, bags of gold, hides and good pets! Plus it's not boring!

Just do gg every day on something fairly high end. Taming beyond 90 odd sucks ass and if you have hours to spend doing it you need a new hobby!

Kirins for males and Unicorns for females are your best bet.

Do the RidgeBacks at the Ridgeback pool in Ilsh.

I took a Cu to kill them and any Savage's

My tamers have always gone from bulls through to ridgebacks whenever the gains went to a trickle.

But I also tame cu sidhe with jewels on to try getting something useful while I train. Taming and turning in unis/kirin is another option to consider. Try different things and see what works for you. And the sooner you start taming aggressive beasts the better you'll be when it counts, so don't avoid them too much :)

Put on or take off jewelry so your taming skill is in the 104-109 range. Tame, release and then kill unicorns or ki-rins nonstop for as long as you can stand it. I usually average between 3-6 gains per hour doing this.

I would suggest Unicorns, I gain with my mods putting me at 120. BUT instead of killing them... take them to the Moonglow zoo and donate. Helps keep the silver steed there I believe.

On another note... I know the post asked for non-aggressive but Cu's are a FABULOUS creature to tame for gains. I tamed for about 3 hours and got .8 in gains. And that too was with my mods on. After tamed... set them on another Cu, releasing once the fight starts. No karma drain... perfect. AND it's great practice in lead taming, not to mention that if you die... the shrine is not too far off for a rez.

I got to 120 Taming from 100 to 120 with only GGS (tooks me ages,... really) with Ki-Rins. I guess it would be the same with Unicorns for females.
