Berserk Armor Set

Hey guys,

I am sad to not see any articles on this guy, anyone tried building a suit around this at all?

I am thinking of making one for my pvp archer/ninja...

Any tips/ideas/thoughs?

Thinking about a good use for that suit myself. No good idea yet.
Problem i see is it takes 3 slots away where you could use good arties instead and its non ex, so only 450 imbuing weight.
Hunter's headdress, glasses ,fey legs, bronzed armor of valkyrie gone. Being hard to kill comes with a penalty here.
May be i use one for my stealth/ninja/mystic/mage for solo peerless hunts.

I see the most practical application on a stealther, though I did see a mage wearing one with max HPR last night and it was really tough to finish him off when he was redlined.

Thats odd because because my experience with it so far was excellent pvm damage reduction but i didnt see very much pvp damage reduction when i tested it out against my own characters, he would get low in health and than glow orange and everything just like he should but the damage reduction just didnt seem to be working in pvp.
i may be wrong i just tested it out quickly and without any real numbers or anything.

I'm building a suit right now, and the character I'll be using it on is a Nerve/Death Striker with Bushido and Parry. When getting low, the plan is to evade and cast attunement, followed by confidence/heal pots.

Really on a stealther all the suit will do is minimize damage taken until you can smoke bomb again.

Finally got around to turning all my stuff in on my primary server on Sunday.

Bought 2 full berzerker suits, 2 partial (no gorget), and then a set of the different elemental resist boots.

Gonna try out a sampire with a full berzerker suit. Has anyone tried it yet? Not a character I plan on using to work up any spawns, so not concerned about durability. Just going to use him to kill champs / harrowers after a raid.

Curious to see how the life leech does with berzerk.

Awesome! I have wanted to try this myself. I would love to see how one if the experts in sampirenation work this into a suit. Please post what you come up with.

I turned in my points on Origin last night and plan to get a Bestial Suit for my sampire there. I'm debating which chest to use. I'm thinking something with DCI so probably a HoL or a Bramble Coat. The arms will be imbued leather or heartwood. I'm going to test it on a traditional sampire build with parry and see what happens.

Sorta tried it on test against lich lords.... the berserk thing blocked the life leech.

Doh! Really? If we can't leech life in Berserk then this won't work for sampires. How much did you test it Cetric? Is there any suitable way to heal?

Completely blocked, or blocked an equal percentage of damage blocked?

Completely blocked healing would be pointless. You could not get out of bereserk state then.

From what I understand, you leave berserk state after 10 seconds of not taking damage?
