Been gone for a year, please tell me/us what is new.

Well, I got an email from EA basically begging for users to come back (for free) and that there were a lot of improvements, quote "Actually fun to play again".

Well, I have been perusing the threads here and reading up on the dev blog. I have been playing all day today and other than a few new objects, I don't see all that much difference..

Instead of searching for days, could someone give me the basics of what has changed?

It would be a good idea to start with the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum.

Then check out the new ea-land.ea.com..."Key differences betwen The Sims Online and the new EA-Land"..

I think that pretty much covers it in a general way.
