So I've played Atlantic from the birth of UO and LS when it was released shortly after and when siege came about after the abyss days (I loved the abyss shards!) I join the influx of players starting fresh here. (and than restarting after the wipe!)

I quit siege long ago, before I even quit uo in 2003. (Returned earlier this year) I left sometime just after they removed rot for that period of time. The increase in dexers with spears doing random para blows was just to much for me. Anyways, I'm curious just what the population is like today? I remember so many of the regular shards big pvp guilds ran about here and with the crafters and rpers it really felt like uo did when I first started. (I didn't like not having precast/insta though I'll admit) I'm sure most of those early guilds and major players have gone the way of the dodo eh? GC for example I think left even before I quit.

I don't have the time I think to really make a full return but Im considering having some part time fun on siege. I just wanted to know if any of the original towns, players, guilds, and communities still exist (And by exist I mean at the very least, partially active and not just still standing... :<). I suppose the population is rather low as a lot of us who originally populated the shard were some of the first players to step foot into the game of UO and longed for that excitement we had the privileged of experiencing first hand and not just through comics and old web pages such as those players today.

I'm sure alot has changed...ie population/guilds and more.. but only way you can make any type of realistic decision is to try it out yourself. If only on a month to month basis and make up your own mind. There is plenty of help if you need help. Good Luck in your final choice and Welcome back to Siege if you should decide to come back!

Well, I already expected that many have left. I'm just curious as to who all remains and if any of the old towns are still active.
