Barkeep is bugged

Hi all,

I just bought a barkeep contract and placed it inside my house. It worked, you could buy the typical beverages from him. After customizing him a bit, his vendor abilities just vanished. He now is merely decoration and cannot sell anymore.

Is this a known bug? Is there a way to fix this?

Only some of the characters you chose from the management menu actually sell food and drinks, maybe about 5 of the characters. You must have picked one that doesn't sell.

I picked a pirate, of course :)
This seems to be an illogical restriction. I bought a barkeep contract after all.
