Hi! Just wondered if you think it's viable playing some sort of bard/necro/mage type of character? As a new player and just gained a 120 music PS and have gained fairly high in all skills, I would prefer not making a entirely new character.

How would your bardnecromage template look? I have no clue which bard skills I should keep, or what necro skills to get.

It depends, depends on the thing you wish to do with it. I have a necro/bard/mage (necro,ss,magery, eval, music, peace, disco), which works pretty good for champs/peerless/new SA stuff. Sure it's a dead end in PvP.

I think you kind of need to ask that question though. What is the purpose of necro? Dealing damage?

Well Musicianship 120
Peace 120
Provoke 120
Magery 100 +20 from various
Necro 100 +5 from bloodspirit talisman to make 105 necro for 100% strangle.
Spirit Speak 110 + 10 from bloodspirit talisman
Meditation from the remaining spell points 45

Just some ideas to kick around. Any template that adds in additional skills on top of being a necro/mage will crap your template. I guarantee it. Unless you make some major adjustments.

I run a necro/mage tamer for kicks and giggles and while it is somewhat feasible, I do without meditation on that particular template.

And really forgot to add in Eval so as you can see you will already do without something. No Eval = not paralyzing anything with magery.

Basic thing will probably be to go without meditation like I did since I use taming, vet and lore. 3 Skill slots...same as music for the most part.

I had a necro peacer mage for spawning a few months ago, but I broke the template down and switched it to a normal necro mage recently. Uh as far as I remember I had the following:

120 Magery (faction tome and faction crystalline to get to 120)
120 Eval
120 SS

I can't remember how much necro I was running, but I did build the necromancer bracers into the suit. I also don't recall how much music and peacing but it was probably around 110. I think any remaining points I had went into med.

Not a bad idea...the midnight bracers. I completely forgot about those for whatever reason. Well maybe something like this then, let us start over:

120 Eval
100 Magery +items to reach 120
110 Spirit Speak +10 from items
80 Necro + 5 + 20 to get to 105 overall
110 Peace
110 Music
90 Meditation

Adjust the meditation as needed to have 120 in both peace and music if you have enough return on your mana with +MR coupled onto that.

Personally I always liked having provoke as well. Places like Twisted Weald are easy to pick up all the keys on your own. Either way though you are dust in PvP. PvM though could be really super.

I had provoke on my t-hunter, I just never moved it over, though I'm sure I could have made room. I did all of my work at Fel champ spawns on that char though, so I felt med was a better go-to skill than provoke. I mostly stuck to Coon and Semidar spawns, I think I might have even done a bunch of Oaks and Neira with him too. We did do a few Rikktor but I really hate that dang dragon hehe.
