Not working for me either
well i have logged in and out several times with them in pack.. haven't poofed.. I tried cashing one too and it cashed the excess of 1mil and left me a 1mil check in pack. I can't make them again so I am taking this as a bug and will report what I did.
There was an old bug with vendors if I remember right and you could create checks of any amount. They banned a bunch of people, and deleted a bunch of gold. The ones innocent people made by accident and had in houses were then later supposedly all converted to the red "a bank check" Value:1 that GM's were needed to convert back for you. You see them on the ground where houses have fallen in some places.
