Bane V Orphid event questions

Has anyone found a story line or reason to carry on fighting in this event after you have hit max Loyalty with both sides, have multiples of the rare items from the chests and farmed 100s if not 1000s of black rock?

I cant see a reason to fight anymore as there is no storyline or reason to carry on.

Even the bane dragons are pretty much a free for all now.

Will the event advance or is this it? one week of taming and killing and there is nothing to fight for?

If there was a story behind it like the brit invasion i might keep fighting so my shard has the best statues (the one in brit saying how well you did against the invasion).

But right now im confused as to carry on farming the reward chest and black rock or go back to what we used to do?!?

I say do whatever is the most fun to you . Personally I really enjoy live events whether there is much history behind it or not, especially when it has me killing things I wouldn't normally go out and kill just for the heck of it.

I think the biggest question remains how long will this event last. For those who think it might end, gathering stew and other things is very important.

Otherwise, the arties you get demand you do other things to complete new suits ;P.

They said it will go on so long that everyone gets a chance to tame a dragon, tats been done. I play 4 servers and my tamers on each has a pretty nice one or 12.

the stew is oblique as they said you could still feed youyr dragon after the event (unless there is something more they will release with reguards to the "max power" of your dragon, but if they do that is still only an advance for tamers on the pets they tamed)

I wondering where this is going as its been 1 week and nothing new, nothing worth looting (apart from "doh" more blackrock)

Id like to hear a story as to why we fight and were its going (apart from just new items there gona release for a month)

It doesnt beeet spring clean/brit invasion/the orphids at skara/shadow lords/EM events.... etc....

Also, instead of us getting a random "worthless" item in our bag from the chest (as with imbuing they are all usless with only 450 intensity when imbuing, if there worth imbuing) could they be a minor arti?

Would make it alot more worth while even though minors are worthless atleast minor artis are worth more than 2 residue for 1 hours work, even getting a relic frag is worth more than 90% of the minor arties as everyone unravels them to get less than a relic!
