Baja Event Question

Okay, so I was at the Baja event and I have a question for others who participated. I was standing a good distance away from Casca when the crystal blew. It seemed to me as if a certain radius around that crystal was cleared of players. What happened? Were they moved to the edge of that radius? Secondly, if this was the case and you were one of those players, did you lag? Did you hear what Casca was saying? Did you get any crystals? I've heard various complaints about not being able to hear what was said, lagging and not being able to get crystals. Did people who crowded the EMs miss out, or is this a complaint from those who were further away as well?

Before folks got moved back, I was already at the outer edge of the crowd, just trying to watch what Casca was doing and keep up with what he was saying. As far as I can remember, my position didn't change when folks were pushed back. And as I said in another thread, I saw a few things falling through the air and using control shift saw maybe two things on the ground far away from me. Nothing fell near me and I had no idea what was going on. I guess I was too dumb to know we *all* should have been standing right smack on top of Casca and his idiot guard.

Yup. Blue/red reward cloth color. They spawned on the ground when Casca blew up the crimson crystal.

standing close to crystal and heard nothing said. was not in journal either.

Got lagged bad when blown back and never saw a single piece of the crystals on the ground ctrl shift didnt work or i was just to late.
