Its amazing, almost incredible, how this game made it past its 5th year. Somehow its still here. I had to get a new CC; because my last one expired. So 3 months ago when I tried to use my new card, it would say error, and I would have to return to the homepage. I ended up having to buy a 3 month gtc 2 play the game. I searched and searched; trying to find out why it wouldn't take my card. I Eventually came upon Petrafydes guide and followed it exactly. But, got the same result. Considering this games horrible history of customer service; I guess it makes perfect sense. Why wouldn't a company try to resolve an issue; where a customer couldn't give them money? It seems to be a strangely common issue, based other posts ive read here. Maybe EA/Origin should drop the UO title and change it to: "Im sorry theres nothing we can do"

Bought a one month code just a bit ago worked fine for me.

I don't thing that was the OP's point MalagAste. They were pointing out how hard it was to get a CC to work with the new billing and that they HAD to use a gtc to play.

EA as a whole is not what I would call a company of working brain cells...
We all have tried to give them our money and had the system spit it back at us.... if it was not the billing system giving hassles, its the Origin Store not completing orders.... both of which are arse backwards in its methods and hell to get what you paid for out of it. Somewhere the message is not getting to the big brass about the foul up... lost money hurts a company's bottom line ... or at least I thought that was how it worked....

did u use lates internet explorer most sites forms work best with, i do hate it though

was everything spelled right?
typed correct ??

i have never had issues,

have changed cards even old cards still show

try coping pasting also spaces can mess up a form

guessing is a user issue as one, 2 every few weeks over 100's and site is for all games

There have been more than a few glitches lately. I believe people when they say they're having problems, but until I saw it for myself, I'd have attributed it to user error. The other day the account management page was timing out when it should have given the final page to confirm the order, and it didn't matter whether it was using a saved card or a new one. Then today I bought a couple of codes from the Origin store, and other than having to reformat into the correct dashed pattern, I had no problems. It depends on planetary alignment, solar flares, and most importantly, whether EA's hamsters have gone on strike.
