I'm returning to UO and I will like to the way people are trading house.

Like, if I buy a fel house 50m, can I put the check in a backpack ?

Long time ago, backpack with check can be dropped/steal/looted , etc.

Do not carry checks in containers other than the top level of your backpack. They, like all blessed and insured items, can be stolen, lost, or looted if they are in a container in your pack. You can lose them and the person that just traded you can lose them. The safest way is to drag them into the trade window one at a time.
