Back from vacation...

So after my week at FARMVILLE Indianna, I am back home where I belong.

Played with 2 yr. old grandson, fed their chickens, ghinna? hens, goats, pet the baby calf, had a huge St. Bernard slobber on me, had 2 full size poodles, a great pyrannes and 3 other dogs all jump in my lap. Got sunburn from our full day of swimmin in a pretty public pool built for just for lil kids and their parents/grandparents.

But, my IQ has dropped some 20 points, after 7 long days of SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS on their tv set for the lil guy !! I did sneak a channel change to the Lil Einsteins when they were not lookin once to give my grandson something more intellectual to watch besides a sponge wearing square pants. lol

GAH ! tis good to be home considering the flight I was trying to LEAVE Indianna upon was overbooked and I told the agent get me on anything !
I will improvise, I want to GO HOME !

Got home late yesterday via much improvisation on my own, take this flight take that one, whatever to wherever, to get home.
Ah HOME, no cow, no goats, no chickens, no 7 huge dogs, no cute whirly dervish of 2 yrs. of age never runnning out of energy wanting gramma to play with him, and NO SPONGEBOB ON MY TV !

Just a husband and 2 cute shelties, glad to see me get home.

ATM the wonderous patch of late spring clean up is not working ERROR ERROR
and acct. migration....um NO thanks not even gonna try YET.

Whether I ever get back into UO again...atm don't know, don't seem to care, just glad I had a great vacation with youngest daughter, son in law and grandbaby.

I am HOME where NO spongebob shall ever be on my tv.... 24.7. LOL

It was comic that wherever she took us I had to remind her, hey you are payin for it cool, but don't forget to tell em, ONE is senior citizen discount ! LOL.. ME !

I was informed another grand child via them is due next May !

Now MY kids at least grew up with the COUNT, counting on Sesame Street !
Sponge Bob don't do nothing but make krabcakes at the krabby whatever resturant under the sea ! LOL

HE dont even COUNT em ! NOTHING for a preschooler [to learn] cept how to blow bubbles 'if' they ever under the sea in spongebob world ! lol

As for all the critters, I like critters, the calfling thought my hand was an udder apparently thinking I was it's mudder..or something...
They're tryin to raise beef to eat.

They call the calf DINNER..but they treating it like a pet sooooooooo we shall see how that turns out...when it becomes an mean hefty pounded STEER that should become DINNER but will probably just end up another PET to mow em over with its weight, in um FARMVILLE there. They seemed remotely aware when I told them, that they bought a DAIRY calf not a BEEF calf but whatever LOL

I have no issues with eating BEEF. I'm just not the type of 'farmer', nor meat eater to [get to KNOW my meals on some personal level] like raising em from babies to the dinner table, cuz I too, would make em PETS instead of dinners.
Nooo I will buy my beef to EAT from cows 'I' never raised up and got to know *personally* ! Heck I even sucked at chicken raising, couldn't do em in when they would have made *fryers* so mother in law had to butcher em when they were so old they barely made decent chicken soup !

And the apple don't fall far from the tree, when time comes I bet that calf, one day full grown male cowsteer, doesn't end up as their DINNER anyhow !
Only time this once upon farmer ever killed my livestock was when a goat I had went nuts on me and tried to attack ME and my kids, shot that sucker dead. Bout the only way *I* can kill a living thing myself is if it turns on me ! Other wise I BUY my meat to eat from them that CAN raise animals up for the slaughter house. That aint me and I dont think daughter can either..we shall see ! LOL

Yeah, the current crop of crap that passes for kids TV is pretty unstimulating.

My boy's 15 months now, and really only pays attention to the TV when there are pretty girls on it. Not sure how much longer I have until he wants to actively watch.

Hey, at least your son notices pretty girls on tv. Hehe

Now I may NOT be a real farmer at all, but having lived 14 yrs. in Wisconsin, I think I know what a HOLSTEIN dairy cow looks like. IF I were to raise a lil calf from calfling to dinner table I probably would buy me a black angus MEAT cow or something. I do not know if *dairy* cows make good pot roasts or not, I guess they do...dunno...but lil DINNER, just 8 wks old atm, looks just like this calf...

A holstein ie [dairy] calfling. But whatda I know I ain't no farmer type.

LOL yeh I got 2 more kids I can visit any ol time I feel like flyin again and being rl herded thru reginal and hub airports around the USA and beyond.
I can fly NON REV anywhere. Price is right, NOTHING, as a former airline employee retiree fee, but payin the taxes to uncle sam, and *space available* I still get there one way or another sooner or later ! Been improvising for 30+++ yrs at flyin, so np !

One in San Diego Calif. and one in Baltic Connecticut, the latter has horses and beehives. I can always revisit the San Diego Zoo too.

So if the UO fan hits the ... np I got a rl to DO ! LOL

At my age I even got a bucket list of things I can rl DO besides visit cows and revamped UO SHEEP ! lol I can go visit my kids farmvilles or whatevers or stay home and WATCH THE PACKERS on tv like TONITE instead of tryin to dwld latest patch ! GO PACKERS !

Lucky I ate at all up there ! nuke it this nuke it that for FOOD and Meals. LOL

And why pay 3.00 for Mio or mia in a tube, to make ice tea when tea bags are only 1.50 and taste BETTER ! ?
I was highly entertained when they made me burgers on the grill and lost control of the flame and seen the porch ceiling tiles melt above them !
I am easily amused ! I took pictures of the flame and meltin porch ceilin porch tiles on me new cell phone and old school *camera* ! lol
The burgers were um very WELL DONE, to say the least.
I used one as a frisbee to toss to a big poodle ! Poodle ate it he didnt care. lol
I had fun up there, in my own comic motherly way ! hahaha

I told my husband when I got home, all I kept craving was some fried chicken lookin at all them hens of theirs ! We will have some REAL yankee doin southern fried chicken tonite, in MY kitchen before the Packers game>

Welcome back, QZ! I'm with you...can't stand Sponge Bob Square Pants either. My 6 year old grandson enjoys watching it though and can draw a pretty good likeness of it. The 4 year old's still fairly content to watch Sesame Street, Barney and most of the other young kids' cartoons on the PBS stations.

But then I grew up with VIOLENCE bugs bunny and elmer fudd always fighting, popeye always getting clomped by brutus till popeye ate his spinach, donald duck always pullin bs on mickey mouse...wicked witches putting cinderellas and snow whites into a deep sleep or something evil with poisoned apples and junk...probably why I LIKE SIEGE, it isnt BARNEYville nor spongebob flippin krusty krab burgers for a living, and only that !

I don't even let Little pickaxe watch spongebob (she will be 6 in October). It's one of the few shows I have banned. Most children's shows these days are crap (with the exception of Phineas and Ferb!) I was very happy when she discovered Boomerang and the Hub- all old shows.... flintstones, jetsons, scooby doo, gem and the holograms, and so many more great shows.

I know!! It seems like just a few months ago we were taking bets on how long I would be in labor! LOL!! She started kindergarten yesterday!
