Anyone else in factions think that guardzone should be turned off in ALL Faction Towns and gates, and also Serpents Hold.

This is definitely a topic that has been brought up a few times. Many of us in factions agree with this statement but there has been equal opposition to it by what seems to be those not in factions.

There are those in Factions that think the guards should stay. There is still plenty of pvp that takes place outside of the guard zone. It isn't like there really is much incentive, or reason, to actually run sigils. If the system was different, or had a real purpose, then maybe removing the guards would make sense.

I want the guard zones to stay as I prefer to do my shopping and crafting in fel instead of the carebear land. So guard zones are nice for the defenseless crafter.

I wouldn't mind guard zones staying if I could heal reds and be healed on my reds within guard zone given that those I am healing or being healed by are in my Guild/Alliance.

Given this, it wouldn't have a negative impact on the defenseless crafter who frequents Felucca. They still wouldn't be attackable within guard zones but faction fights that roll in to guard zones would work a bit better.

I understand that sigils are mostly worthless but on my home shard we occasionally fight over them for something to do, just a goal to shoot for. As there is fighting over them then it would beg to reason that at least one of the opposing factions feels the same way. We used to be TB and fighting outside the TB base was hard because:

A. We were mostly red and couldn't x-heal while fighting the faction foes outside of the TB base.

B. The other faction brought non-faction blues who we couldn't attack unless we were attacked first. Meaning all non-faction blues could focus on one red and the rest of us couldn't do anything about it. (and somehow a faction stealth archer always got the kill shot putting us in stat)

Our solution, we switched factions. Worked for me as I wanted to switch for other reasons but the lack of x-healing was definitely annoying.

These are my opinions only, everyone is welcome to their own.

Being faction and being red.... in regards to guard zones.

1. Faction members should be able to x-heal, x-cure, bless, cleansing winds, you name it without being flagged as a criminal.

2. If a non-faction blue attacks a faction red. The non-faction blue should flag towards the whole faction and be freely attackable by said faction.

3. Move TB faction stronghold out of Brit. They have already moved CoM strong hold out of Magincia.

With that any two of those changes... mainly 1 and 2. It would work alot better. Also the "crafter" who is camping a PvP area, as long as he doesn't attack wont be attacked either.

Just my 2 cents.
