What triggers this ability to go off? Is it a proc from the pet hitting or being hit or just a random thing like a magery spell?
I'm about to try it out despite the 100 mana cost, but I want to know how it works first because I know with some area effect abilities it's better to max magic resist first or spellbinders die/debuffed. Thank you.

Also the description of this ability is somewhat vague. Anyone know how long it lasts and how much it decreases the mobs hit speed and damage by?
