In regards to the auction I would like to start hearing from people who anticipate submitting items. These auctions will most likely be once a month or every other month depending on the turnout. I would like to keep them under a hour long like our last auctions since most people don't want to sit there longer then that. So please review my following submission rules, and then either post here or PM me if you anticipate submitting items. I will need to get a general idea of how many items we will have. It is looking like we should be ready for the auction somtime during the week of December 14th. (this is still a guess at this time).
Item Submission procedure and rules.....
-All items shall be submitted 1 week prior to the auction. This will allow us time to organize and list the items for sale including the minimum bids.
-All items must be placed in a bag with a book listing your char name, item description, icq number, and minimum bid requested.
-After the auction non sold items or the gold from sold items will be returned to the owners the following day. This will give us time to collect the gold off the vendor and place it in the bags with your books, and return it to you.
-There will be no fee rendored for selling your item. Whatever the buyout bid was on the auction is, will be the amount that is returned to you. Tips and or donations can be done on your own accord, however they are not needed.
-Be wise when assessing your minimum bid desired. It is very likely that the item will sell close to that amount. Do not get upset if your server birth valued at 30mill sells for 2 mill due to a very low minimum bid. Always use the amount that you will be happy with as a minimum bid.
-All item types will be excepted with the following exceptions....
NO Pets
NO items or item packages that have a fair market value of under 100k (Though it would be nice to get 1 mill for that lvl 1 doom artifact.. chances are it won't happen, and most people attending will not be interested in such items. This however is not true in the case where you might be selling a set of items in one package that have individual value of under 100k. As long as the package value exceeds that.. its fine.)
This is it for now. Once we have a date and time set we will get with everyone and explain how and when to submit thier items.
So please for now tell me if you plan on submitting items and ruffly how many. There is currently no item limit per person, but that may change depending on the turnout.
