If you've transferred anything to Atlantic in the last 2 weeks, you need to check the clients transfer logs, and contact Support, to try to get the items returned.
Transfers off Atlantic might actually result in your having the stuff at its destination AND still having the character/items on Atlantic (depending on when they were acquired and when the transfer took place).
There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth (and not a little of the lamentation of their women), going on in the various Atlantic forums and U.Hall, as a result.
As to what happened, apparently the issues Atlantic was having 2 weeks ago corrupted all backups as they were made, and on top of it coincided with a relocation of the backup data to the cloud.
