Atlantic Factions Update - Minax Turns Up the HEAT

See the last reply to this topic for an update on an announcement made by the commanding lord of Council of Mages and how they have failed to carry it out.

Minax has secured the last town overnight and now controls all eight. The True Britannian leader has failed to rally his troops or even coordinate basic sigil resetting. In fact his only successful effort was to rename his guild into an obscenity and get it into the top 10 ranking for everyone to see.

As for other factions, the Shadowlords commander has appeared a few times but has apparently not made any effort to revitalize his guild. He has only appeared at Yew moongate a few times to gank people. It is rather pathetic considering his guild used to be the top faction guild.

Finally [VIP] has avoided rejoining the Council of Mages faction due to issues in controlling champion spawns.

So it's not so much that the HEAT is being turned up, but more-so that no one is doing anything about it?

I'd love to do Atlantic Factions... But that's exactly why I won't.

The True Britannians currently have a lot of active members. However it seems no one is really leading the faction. There hasn't been a serious guarding attempt by them since we started getting really active in factions.

Hopefully something stirs up... I'd love to play Atlantic factions, and especially Minax (perhaps too long playing a Shadow Knight in EQ has me loving the colors). Anyway, I have no interest in playing on either side of a lopsided battle field, especially since I am new to the PvP scene again. In that respect, Great Lakes factions looks more inviting.

Why? If he put in the same effort into guarding as he does placing unmovable objects in our base or coming up with clever ways to bypass the word censor, the True Britannians would be doing a lot better.

Several months ago the kid barked a lot of hype out for his faction event that he would not start. Once it was started by other guilds he dragged his feet, then finally joined AN OCCUPIED faction so we could hold their hand. When we said no and left for another faction they went inactive. Rotn and VIP fought each other and that was that. VIP won the faction event hands down.

Now everyone leaves the factions/shard and Link sticks his chest out and says hes a bad ass. Congradulations. Have fun on the dead shard that you killed by being a house hiding punching bag.

Lets all give Link and his guild of chumps a round of applause for fighting no one good and talking a lot of **** after they won nothing and took something that was left on the table for anyone to pick up.

Oh yeah, and since when is a 2on2 a gank? I logged on Atl 3 times in last 2 weeks to fight. Fought 2 VIP vs me, they killed me, Fought 2 VIP vs Me and Torem and we won, then I fought 4 HOT vs just me and killed 2 and I gank?

But by the time we got the actual changes in place factions was not active at all and the guilds who pledged participation either no longer exist or left the shard.

At this moment HOT is into factions big time and no one is taking us up on it.

No one is taking you up on it because your all a waste of time. It will be active for 2 or 3 days and then you will roll over and wont log on ur faction characters for months until your enemies go inactive or leave the shard looking for a more competent opponent. HOT is all house hiding, front running chumps. You are beating up a bunch of no bodies,,, just roll with it, shut your mouth, and enjoy it while it lasts. Because sooner or later, some half decent small guild is gonna roll your horde of mental midgets with ease. Either way it most likely wont be us because you and ur guild just aren't worth the transfer token.

We will stick to GL where we know, whether our enemies are winning or losing they will be on tomorrow.

We have been very active in factions for almost a month now. So there goes your 2-3 day theory. Every time we went to get the sigils in TB base we have not lost. We would love to face some opponents who can fight back.

That is what people say about VIP yet we fight them all the time and win many fights. I am not kidding when we wish there was another faction to challenge our overwhelming win.

Link theres only a handfull of people in TB. What are you bragging about? And the ones who are in just put a alt in because they are first and foremost spawners. Oh and you have never pushed through the base when I was there. Yet everytime we tried a push into minax when I was there we won. Yeah theres your overwhelming win.

Because no one cares. If anyone joins and beats them for more than a day they will just go inactive again.

In 12 hours (off and on) I was able to get 13 kill points, ten from heat. Heat stopped logging in their factioners. I noticed them back at gate on alternate characters after dieing. I even dispatched both the TB and Minax commanding lords. JC has no interest in competition, all he does is post propaganda attempting to make his bad guild look good!

The town of Skara Brae has been secured and won't be stealable for another 3 days. Thus the eight day announcement of owning all the towns can not be met.

In addition, [HEAT] guild of the Minax faction was able to demolish a combined Shadowlords and Council of Mages defense at the Shadowlords base last night and retrieve all the sigils they were guarding. There is no question that the HOT guild is currently in complete control of Factions on the Atlantic shard.

See this guy is off the ****ing wall. Guarding? Did we have anything down? We only had 2 ppl there jack ass.

Link, seriously, wtf are you thinking. Me and Sweelo logged on atl for the first time in days and brought the sigs to SL base just to get a fight while sigs were unavailable on GL. We killed almost everyone in your guild and not once cared to keep the sigs. It wasnt a defense and it definitly wasnt a combined defense of COM and SL. We killed Nox before you got there, so he was in stat. I don't even think I saw another COM there. If we did see one, we didn't notice and we killed or attacked them. So save your garbage. We owned you guys 2 on (8?) what ever and killed pretty much every one of you ******s.

Congrats on defending against no one tho. Really....

You had many people in the base preventing us from resetting the sigils. That is by definition a guarding attempt. Don't try and brush it off, the sigils were only an hour or so from being corrupted. You even had people hiding in there.

Your full of ****ing ****. Brit was in our base for 6 hours, and the otheres were just brought there about an hour prior to us getting on. We saw 4 oranges run by our base so we stood in the base waiting for people to come. That is not by any definittion a guarding attempt. We were waiting for a fight and got one... we won... 8 on 2....
