Again
I, and the voices in my head agree!Shard definitely seems unstable lately, I'm referring to connection this time rather than players.
oh god, it was - I'm glad it wasn't just me. I was fighting z3rg, and on my last death, I just said "**** this, I can barely move. I'm pulling out as soon as I res" in vent.Last Night Lag was HORRIBLE
Dont worry, the idoc was crap anyways.oh god, it was - I'm glad it wasn't just me. I was fighting z3rg, and on my last death, I just said "**** this, I can barely move. I'm pulling out as soon as I res" in vent.
I went to LS a few minutes later, and had the same problem. I restarted my computer and was fine there - Atl was still laggy though.
Other shards do it to, I have seen about 5+ posts about GL being down in the last few months, as well as a few from other shards like Pacific and Balhae.Im not sure why the Altlantic crowd feel that their shard being down is news of interest to the wider community in uhall.
Three separate posts in the last 10 days stating the fact. None from any other shard. Try posting in the Atlantic forum instead of spamming your local news here
Welp. Can't win 'em all.Dont worry, the idoc was crap anyways.
Pretty sure that is only because there aren't enough active players on most other shards to notice. Just the special few that play them because they feel tied to the history or worse, just to have a big old lonely house to decorate and re-decorate.Im not sure why the Altlantic crowd feel that their shard being down is news of interest to the wider community in uhall.

Someone appears to have 'shard envy'Atlantic alone accounts for half of the incidents in the past month. Point is no one outside of your home shard is interested. It belongs on the shard forum.
Over compensate much?Pretty sure that is only because there aren't enough active players on most other shards to notice. Just the special few that play them because they feel tied to the history or worse, just to have a big old lonely house to decorate and re-decorate.
Just one thing I have to ask is where at all in this thread do you see any Atlantic player posting anything even close to your reference of " drooping to the knees and wailing" ??Over compensate much?
i agree with crafty, you have a forum for ATL, use it.
you dont see me coming in here dropping to my knee's and wailing at the top of my lungs every time Sonoma drops.
but thats always been the ATL mentality unfortunately.
they should probably rename the game Ultima Online of Atlantic.
So youre trying to tell me that the Devs have no mechanism to tell them when a shard goes down? That they rely on happening to look at uhall and see a posting to know this? Really? The thing is..I think most of the Devs head here to UHall first, here and the ask the devs and bugs forums before browsing all the shard forums so posting here is a good idea if they don't realize a shard is down. And I'm sure that there are many people that play Atlantic as well as other shards so putting it here is a good call imo

I dont have anything at all for or against Atlantic. Its just another shard. Atlantic players posting shard specific issues in Uhall came to my attention because there have been 3 this year. None from anyone else in between, but yes ... it applies to all shards. Shard specific issues belong on the shard forum.https://stratics.com/community/threads/great-lakes-went-poof.330216/

Two threads in the past month about shards other than Atlantic going down.
What is your point Craftsman?
And funny, but I must have missed your posts complaining about those people advertising their shard down? Can you shoot me a link to that?
Your Atlantic 'shard envy' is kinda weird and sad at the same time darling.
